Instructions for translators

Does KiCad in your native language still have a few English menu options or text blocks? Or maybe you are fluent in a language that KiCad doesn’t yet have? If so, then we’d love for you to contribute to the translation!

To get started with translation, you can use Weblate here to build up the existing translations or start a new translation all together.

  • Translations can be made directly.
  • Translation suggestions can be made.
  • Any authenticated user can contribute.
  • The translation uses bilingual files.
