Welcome to the translation Weblate for the free and open-source app Learn GDScript from Zero.

You can use Weblate to translate the application and its content. We keep translations in a dedicated repository on GitHub: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript-translations/

When we publish translations

We publish the translations in a given language when at least 50% of the app's content is translated and peer-reviewed.

Because this app is a course to learn to code, it is not enough to just translate the interface for people to use it in their native language: without the lessons' translations, they can't use the app.

In the above example, for each item in the list [code][0, 1, 2][/code], Godot sets [code]number[/code] to the item, then executes the code in the [code]for[/code] loop.

We'll explain arrays more thoroughly in the next lesson, but notice that [code]number[/code] is just a temporary variable. You create it when defining the loop, and the loop takes care of changing its value. Also, you can name this variable anything you want.

You get this error when the name between the [code]for[/code] and [code]in[/code] is not a valid variable name, or you are missing the [code]in[/code] keyword.

In a [code]for[/code] loop, the [code]in[/code] keyword only accepts a valid temporary variable name to assign values in each loop iteration. The loop creates a new variable with the desired name and assigns each element of the array to it.
Bład ten występuje kiedy nazwa pomiędzy [code]for[/code] i [code]in[/code] nie jest prawidłową nazwą zmiennej, albo kiedy brakuje słowa kluczowego [code]in[/code].

W pętli for [code]for[/code], słowo kluczowe [code]in[/code] akceptuje tylko tymczasową nazwę zmiennej do przypisywania wartości poprzez każdą iterację pętlin. Pętla tworzy nową zmienną z podaną nazwą i przypisuje każdy element tablicy do niej.

An argument is a value that you pass to a function when calling the function. For example, in the call [code]rotate(0.5)[/code], the value [code]0.5[/code] in the parentheses is an argument.

A function can receive no arguments, one argument, or multiple arguments. Arguments can be mandatory or optional.

When a function takes multiple arguments, you separate the values with commas, like in this function call: [code]jump(50, 100)[/code]

When [i]calling[/i] a function, we name the values passed in parentheses [i]arguments[/i].

When writing a function definition, however, we talk about function [i]parameters[/i]. In the following example, the names [code]x[/code] and [code]y[/code] are [i]parameters[/i].
