Welcome to the translation Weblate for the free and open-source app Learn GDScript from Zero.

You can use Weblate to translate the application and its content. We keep translations in a dedicated repository on GitHub: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript-translations/

You can find the application's source code with published translation in the following repository: https://github.com/GDQuest/learn-gdscript/

The app is available on itch.io to download and try on your desktop: https://gdquest.itch.io/learn-godot-gdscript

Finally, you can use the bleeding edge version of the app right in your browser at the following address: https://gdquest.github.io/learn-gdscript/staging/

When we publish translations

We publish the translations in a given language when at least 50% of the app's content is translated and peer-reviewed.

Because this app is a course to learn to code, it is not enough to just translate the interface for people to use it in their native language: without the lessons' translations, they can't use the app.

All translations, as well as the application's source code, are MIT licensed.

In the previous part, you created a function to draw a square of a fixed size.

This function is a bit limiting. Instead, it would be much better if we had a function to draw a square of [i]any[/i] size. Or better: any kind of rectangle (a square is a specific kind of rectangle).

In previous lessons, you used the [code]rotate()[/code] function and gave it an [i]argument[/i].
W poprzedniej części utworzyłeś funkcję rysującą kwadrat o stałym rozmiarze.

Była ona nieco ograniczająca. Zamiast tego byłoby znacznie lepiej, gdybyśmy mieli funkcję rysującą kwadrat o rozmiarze [i]dowolnym[/i]. Albo lepiej: dowolny rodzaj prostokąta (w końcu kwadrat to specyficzny jego rodzaj).

W poprzednich lekcjach używałeś funkcji [code]rotate()[/code] i przypisywałeś jej [i]parametr[/i].

Let's make our square drawing function more flexible to include rectangles of varying sizes.

Your job is to code a function named [code]draw_rectangle()[/code] that takes two parameters: the [code]length[/code] and the [code]height[/code] of the rectangle.

[b]The turtle should face towards the right when starting or completing a rectangle.[/b]

Note that we could still draw a square with [code]draw_rectangle()[/code] by having the [code]length[/code] and [code]height[/code] equal the same value.
Uczyńmy naszą funkcję do rysowania kwadratów bardziej elastyczną: pozwólmy jej rysować prostokąty o różnych rozmiarach.

Twoim zadaniem jest zakodowanie funkcji o nazwie [code]draw_rectangle()[/code], która przyjmie dwa parametry: odpowiadający za długość prostokąta [code]length[/code] oraz [code]height[/code] odpowiadający za jego wysokość.

We want a function to draw squares of any size.

We could use these squares as outlines when selecting units in a tactical game, as a frame for items in an inventory, and more.

Create a function named [code]draw_square()[/code] that takes one parameter: the [code]length[/code] of the square's sides.

[b]The turtle should face towards the right when starting or completing a square.[/b]

Be sure to call [b]turn_right(90)[/b] enough times in your function to do so.

Moglibyśmy użyć tych kwadratów jako obrysów podczas wybierania jednostek w grze taktycznej, jako ramek dla przedmiotów w ekwipunku i nie tylko.
