Instructions for translators	Thanks for helping to translate Ouisync! To get started: Make an account on Weblate or sign in with your Github or Gitlab ID. Note: Account creation is not required, but you will only be able to suggest translations in this case Visit the Ouisync project page - which lists all components and their strings (including Android app strings, the web browser extension, the User Manual and the website). On the OuiSync project page's 'Languages' tab, choose the language you want to work on, or -- in case the language doesn't exist yet -- initiate a new language by selecting a component from the main project page and clicking on the "Start a new translation" button. Please note that we can't support shipping arbitrary translations with our published materials unless they have a reviewer (see below). Please contact the Ouisync team at support AT ouisync DOT net if you are interested in becoming a reviewer for translation(s) in your language(s). For more information about how to use Weblate, see the Weblate documentation.

Translation process	Translations can be made directly. Translation suggestions can be made. Translations are reviewed by dedicated reviewers. Any authenticated user can contribute. The translation uses monolingual files. The translation base language can not be edited.

What you see when you open Ouisync is what we call a “snapshot”: your view of the whole directory tree at a particular moment in time. The repository structure is stored in the so-called “index” files - when peer devices are connecting, they first exchange those indexes. If something has been modified in one of the replicas, Ouisync will download the missing blocks. Ouisync always first downloads directories and only after the files themselves. This helps Ouisync to correctly rebuild your data from blocks without messing it up. In addition, this is done without leaking information to users who have no “read” access to your repositories.
