(Beispiel 1478: L-Form auf der Tastatur) Wurde eine (oder mehrere) der Merkstrategien ausgewählt, so bietet die App die Möglichkeit die PIN-Eingabe zu üben. Die App verwendet keine Permissions und speichert die PIN lediglich während der Laufzeit, um die Merkstrategien zu bestimmen. Anschließend wird diese gelöscht. Während der Bestimmung der Merkstrategien kann durch die andere Apps nicht auf die PIN zugegriffen werden. Um weitere Sicherheit zu gewährleisten ist es nicht möglich Screenshots der Merkstrategien anzufertigen. Die App unterscheidet sich von anderen Applikationen hinsichtlich zweier Aspekte: 1. Keine Berechtigungen Privacy Friendly PIN Merkstrategien App verzichtet auf Berechtigungen. 2. Keine Werbung/Kein Tracking Privacy friendly PIN Merkstrategien verzichtet komplett auf das Einblenden von Werbung. Viele andere kostenlose Apps im Google Play Store blenden störende Werbung ein die unter anderem auch die Akkulaufzeit verkürzt. Die App gehört zur Gruppe der Privacy Friendly Apps, die von der Forschungsgruppe SECUSO am Karlsruher Institut für Technologie entwickelt werden.
