Instructions for translators

Hi there! While translating Swiftcord, please keep the following in mind:

  • Stick to Discord's official translations as much as possible. If a certain string is also used in the official client, use the translated string form it too.

  • Be concise. Make sure the translated strings convey the original meaning and is as short as possible while being clear.

  • Prefer human translations to computer-generated translations. Ensure the translated strings are both grammatically correct and fluent, and that they fit into the UI.

    Translating Swiftcord is very appreciated ;D It would help bring Swiftcord to more locales.
