In France, many public libraries provide a machine-readable catalog (similar to OPDS but not identical), letting patrons download digital publications from their personal bookshelf. Integrating this technology in Thorium Reader allows you to download an ebook or audiobook directly into Thorium Reader for instant reading.
How do you connect your French public library account to Thorium Reader? It's simple. Enter a French city ('Paris') or part of the library name in the Search field and hit the Search button. A list of public libraries corresponding to your search will appear. Select a library and hit Add. In the updated list of catalogs, select this library: an authentication form is displayed. Enter your username/email address and password, and hit Login. You can now see the content of your personal bookshelf, from which you can download and read the ebooks and audiobooks you previously borrowed.
En France, de nombreuses bibliothèques publiques proposent un catalogue lisible par machine (similaire à l'OPDS mais pas identique), permettant aux usagers de télécharger des publications numériques à partir de leur bibliothèque personnelle. L'intégration de cette technologie dans Thorium Reader vous permet de télécharger un livre électronique ou un livre audio directement dans Thorium Reader pour une lecture instantanée.
Comment connecter votre compte de bibliothèque publique française à Thorium Reader  ? C'est très simple. Entrez une ville française ("Paris") ou une partie du nom de la bibliothèque dans le champ de recherche et cliquez sur le bouton Rechercher. Une liste de bibliothèques publiques correspondant à votre recherche apparaîtra. Sélectionnez une bibliothèque et cliquez sur Ajouter. Dans la liste actualisée des catalogues, sélectionnez cette bibliothèque  : un formulaire d'authentification s'affiche. Saisissez votre nom d'utilisateur/adresse électronique et votre mot de passe, puis cliquez sur Connexion. Vous pouvez maintenant voir le contenu de votre bibliothèque personnelle, à partir de laquelle vous pouvez télécharger et lire les livres électroniques et les livres audio que vous avez précédemment empruntés.
